Cars in German Town Discovered Smeared with Swastikas in Human Blood, Law Enforcement State

Police reported they were notified by a man who found a automobile in Hanau covered with red-colored liquid

Around fifty cars have been marked with what seems to be human bodily fluid in the German municipality of Hanau near Frankfurt, according to authorities.

Cars, building surfaces and postboxes were marked, in some cases with swastikas, they stated in a statement.

Law enforcement state they were notified late on Wednesday, when a individual observed that a automobile in the Lamboy neighborhood of Hanau had been smeared with a reddish liquid.

The fluid had been placed in the shape of a banned symbol, they reported.

Officers then located many other marked cars and building exteriors in the nearby vicinity.

Nazi symbols are banned in Germany under legislation banning the public exhibition of Nazi symbols.

Police say preliminary tests suggest the fluid was likely human bodily fluid.

"At present there remains no clue as to its origin; authorities are presently not aware of any physical harm in association with the event," they added.

Local authorities said they were attempting "to unravel the case" and have requested to the residents for details.

A senior political figure stated the incident rendered him stunned and required to be solved quickly.

"This act hits the very heart of Hanau and reawakens the wounds of the extremist terrorist attack five years ago," he stated on online, mentioning the death of nine victims by a gunman targeting individuals of immigrant origin in 2020.
